Dale brought an icicle in early this morning.
The kids thought it was SUPER cool!
Avery says Brrrr!
Isn’t it great how excited kids get over stuff like this? I LOVE IT!
And NO, I did NOT let them eat it. Ew. You know I have OCD issues about germs. That is dirty roof water people!
The next thing we tried, was catching snow flakes on a piece of construction paper. (Thanks for the great idea, Lisa!)
We marveled at the beautiful, unique flakes and talked about how cool it was that God designed each one!
Just beautiful!!!!!!!
What an awesome Creator we serve! Look at the intricate detail of this one TEENY snowflake, whose job is to float down to Earth, then melt! How much more time does our Heavenly Father spend on the intricate details of our daily lives and futures?
“For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible……..all things were created by him and for him.” Colossians 1:15-16
All I can say is, Wow!

Amen! Those snowflakes were very beautiful and really remind you how special and different we all are.
Just found your site from TK. Such a beautiful family and LOVE your child rearing philosophy. You are like PW, you fit a lot in a day. I need to go back and check your recipes—–I know I have made some of them. When I saw the picture of the icicle, my mind was screaming, “Don’t put that in your mouth!” Looking forward to trying more of your recipes.
You and I were BOTH screaming that in our minds! LOL 🙂 I’d love to know what you think of the recipes you’ve tried. Thanks for stopping in!
I am totally trying the construction paper next time it snows. I am not OCD on germs at all….I let my kids eat snow and would definitely let them lick the icicle if they wanted to! lol.
