I’ve been wanting to do a Ten on Ten post every month since I started this blog a year ago, and sadly…..I’ve only accomplished it TWICE!
After that, I promptly forgot all about it!
Now some months, I did remember, but the 1oth and 11th fell on a weekend. I don’t post on weekends, so this automatically disqualified me. But here I am, back in the ol’ Ten on Ten saddle again.
Here are the Ten on Ten instructions:
Take a photo every hour for ten consecutive hours on the tenth of each month. Document a day of your life and find beauty among the ordinary moments. Then share your beauty with us! (on the 11th)
I give you, yesterday’s Ten on Ten:
Or we could call it Twenty Four on Ten, since I took too many! 🙂
Good Morning!
My sweet school girl:
Time for play:
Check out these cool glasses that turn lights into snow flakes! (Yes, the kids still have their Mini-trees up, I am waiting for Dale to bring home giant trash bags before we haul them out to store.)
Onrey boy! Today alone he broke on of my favorite decorations on my buffet when he CRAWLED UP ON IT! Then, while I was still getting over that, he set a candle on top of my brand new Fireplace insert….Wax EVERYWHERE! Then he stuck a green marker down the humidifier hole as well as a golf club handle. {No photos of this, too busy PULLING MY HAIR OUT!}
This kid cannot be left alone for ONE SECOND! Time to do an activity for all the kids.
Coloring sounds safe….
Success!
Getting close to nap and lunch time
Crabitha makes her appearance, it is TOTALLY nap time!
Rest well sweeties, see you in an hour or two….
Mommy’s lunch followed by quiet time blogging and practicing table décor for tomorrow night’s function:
Then feeding the animals…..
While I was out, I decided to photo the kids “Garden” from yesterday, complete with fence. We are loving this nice weather, but come on snow already!!!!
Daddy’s home just to change and head back to a church board meeting….Pax says, See ya later, Mom!
Supper tonight:
Man Casserole, Dale’s favorite!
Danger: Teeny toys about.
Good-night my loves, sweet dreams!

Wow- those are some furry chickens! Those glasses for the tree lights are cool, we’ve got some as well. I love this idea. I hope you don’t mind if I attempt a 10 on 10 one day, too 🙂
You are SO awesome at this! I really enjoyed the pictures and can’t get over how much trouble that adorable little Pax manages to get into! What a wild man huh? :-} You are one hoppin’ busy mama….thanks for sharing your day. I smiled & giggled all the way through. Those are some special farm animals ya got there too!
Your table decoration idea looks so nice! Thanks for sharing your busy mama day with us.
I love this view into your day! And those chickens are so feathery! Wow.
I love this! Very fun way to document your day 🙂 Those decorations are very pretty.
I wonder if Pax and Derek are related…..they have a similiar adorable appearance and a similar attraction to mischief. Hmmm…..of course your advantage and my daughter’s is that your a good 30 years younger than I am chasing a toddler boy. My advantage is that I get to turn Derek over to his mom at the end of the day and I still get those sweet baby kisses and hugs.
A good nights sleep does go a long ways! 🙂 I am so glad Derek has a sweet Gma like you to give him kisses and hugs.
What an awesome post! So much adorable-ness in one day! Maybe I’ll try this next month…
You should, it’s SO fun!!! Maybe we could link up our blogs that day or something?! (I don’t post on weekends, so I’d need to see the next 10 on 10 that works with M-F schedule.)
That’s what I was thinking. 🙂 By the way, is that Mr. Bell’s Workshop?! (or something like that) My maiden name is Bell, and that was always one of my family’s favorite books. 🙂
It IS! It’s Mr. Bell’s Fix It Shop. My mom just moved to a smaller home and she sent home allll my childhood books for my kids to have. We are in Golden Book HEAVEN!
Ok, in February we could take 10 on 10 on the 10th and post it the 13th instead of the 11th? OR if we want to do it “official” and post the 11th, we’ll need to wait for April. Up to you! 🙂
The 13th will work! Now I just have to make sure I don’t forget about it. 😉
I love your Ten on Ten!
I love seeing your normal creative way to deal with your day!
It brought smiles to my face on this frigid snowy 10 degree weekend 🙂
Those are the best looking feathery Chickens ever :)))
Very fun post I hope you can do it again next month!
