Photo Week: Happily Ever After

I love a good wedding!  The dress, the flowers, the details. More importantly, capturing someone’s big day for them in all it’s glory, the Covenant made before Christ and a crowd of witnesses.

My friend Melissa and I go way back to High school days.  We hated each other at first, HATED…….how does that happen?

Sigh. High School girls are so catty!  Needless to say, we became close friends, went to the same college, and she was in my wedding!!!!!

What an honor to shoot her Engagement session last winter, surprise her by attending her Florida beach wedding this Spring, a total God thing since we were driving back from Fl that weekend anyways, and photograph her Kansas reception this summer!

Look at these cutie pies, my second shooter Miss Joy got photos of!  Love when my family can be at the event with me! 🙂

This next wedding was for a friend from High School, it was at the same location as Dale & my Vow Renewal.  She had it decorated so beautifully, and the weather was just perfect!

I did their engagement too, so lets start with that:  I love how Brooks proposed using the Word of God!!!!!!!  He bought Alicia a new Bible for Christmas, then tied the ring to the bookmark tucked in Proverbs 18, where it says “He who finds a wife, finds what is good, and receives favor from the Lord….”

And their beautiful big day…..

And they all lived Happily Ever After…..

Because they built their marriage on the foundation that lasts forever,  Jesus Christ.

Amen.
