One of the Wildtree items I am most excited about, is the plethora of naturally flavored oils they offer, from garlic to bacon to butter, they will blow your mind! I am so in love with the Butter one, if it was a candle flavor, I would have it lit all the time!
Did you know that grapeseed oil is better for you than even Olive oil? Years ago we switched from veggie oil to olive, but now, recent studies show that Olive oil is compromised as SOON as it is heated up, making it no longer healthy. Grapeseed however, has a flash point of like 500*. You can safely fry with it, cook with it, eat it plain, and it’s a fantastic source of nutrition for your body, totally uncompromised by heat.
- Grapeseed Oil contains about twice as much Vitamin E as Olive Oil.
- It has zero trans fats and is non-hydrogenated
- It has zero cholesterol and very little saturated fats
- It has the highest concentration os omega-6 polyunstaurated fat
We use the butter one to make Dale’s famous Stir Crazy popcorn, tastes like the healthy version of movie theater popcorn! And the bacon one, I am saving for when we get some fresh asparagus. Can you imagine how yummy it will be with bacon grapeseed oil and a kosher salt? Can’t WAIT!
Did you know you can even BAKE with grapeseed oil? I haven’t tried it, YET. But follow this link for the recipe:
Grapeseed Oil Chocolate Chip Cookies
You shouldn’t be able to tell any difference at all, and again, it’s healthier for your family in the long run.
Wildtree Grapeseed oil flavors found here on Sonya’s site. I bought the HUGE size! Mmmm! It tastes amazing drizzled over baked fish, sauteing veggies, and of course, Dale’s famous Stir Crazy Popcorn!
In addition to the oils I purchased, Sonya gave me a bottle of Thai Sesame Sun Butter Sauce to try from Wildtree’s amazing sauce and dressing line. It smells incredible!!!!
As soon as I got my first whiff, I knew exactly what I wanted to make, some sort of cold Asian inspired salad that would be delicious on a summer day.
Besides, I figured I had given you all enough traditional, served hot, Chinese dishes to last you a while since I just posted our Top 10 Chinese Dishes last month.
