4 little Fergusons Photography: {Paxton Is 2!}
This is post 2 for today, be sure to head back a post for some YUMMY lettuce wraps!
My lil’ man is 2! I have put off his session for a solid month waiting for the perfect day, wasn’t happening. SO, one cloudy day, with a cool front on its way in, I get the urge to snap a couple pics of him. It turned into a full session, and despite the weird gray light and how COLD it was by the end, I was super happy with how they turned out.
It helps a lot that he doesn’t know a life without a camera in his face! 🙂
Don’t just want to squeeze those sweet CHEEKS!?!?!?!
Love my lil’ man, he is growing up TOO fast!

I Do: Part 2 {Photo Session}
It’s HERE!!!!!! Time for me to share the Vow Renewal with you! Lots of posts coming your way about our I Do: Part 2 Beauty from Ashes Ceremony, from beginning to end! I am so so excited to share our special day with you later this week, and want to thank you all again for your loving support during a really tough time of sharing and healing, laughing and learning. Praise be to God!
My precious friend Joy, from Joy L Baker Photography gave us a beautiful gift in honor of our I Do: Part 2 Beauty from Ashes Ceremony……
A couples photo session, a second “engagement” so to speak.
WE LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT.
Thanks Joy, for the perfect gift!
Hugs, T
Piglet sidled up to Pooh from behind.
“Pooh?” he whispered.
“Yes, Piglet?”
“Nothing,” said Piglet, taking Pooh’s hand.
“I just wanted to be sure of you.”

4 little Fergusons Photography: Paxton ~ 18 months old
Paxton is 18 months old! Time for a photo session. (better late than never)
This is my first session done WITHOUT my very very favorite editing program. It makes me want to cry that I will not have access to Picnik’s easy to use tools, texts and collages. Even though it’s not gone for good yet, I MADE myself edit in Lightroom tonight. MADE MYSELF!
It is better for me to practice and tweak on my own kiddos than someone who is paying me to take their session. I have GOT to learn this program and soon!
It was difficult and I seriously was seeing spots by the time I was done, from staring at all those tiny sliders and words, ugh.
Without further adieu, (or whining) I give you, my first edits in Lightroom of my sweet baby Pax.
I KNOW they need work, some are too blue, some are too red, some are too green, they are all darker than I like them to be…Rrrrr!!!! I’m working on it, and practice makes perfect, right?!?!?! Oh yeah, I said no more whining.
Carry on! 🙂
Such a sweet baby face and I just wanna kiss those smooshy lips!

4 little Ferguson Photography: Sweet Baby Maggie Beth
This is sweet baby Maggie Beth:
She turns one today!
Her parents asked me to photograph her 1st birthday party, a huge shin-dig with nearly 100 people! (so I was told, don’t have the official head count)
Her parents brought her over to my house the next day for a photo session, things started out great!
Then, the mean ol’ Rooster crowed and scared her silly!
Poor baby. (but what a CUTE cry face!)
We spent the better part of the next half hour trying to console the poor dear. Thankfully we still got some shots. You know those moments just make you sweat as a parent, but I kept reassuring them that this was totally the story of my life and not to worry!
I heard a Rooster, I just know it!
Maggie Beth’s favorite part? When her momma let her sit in the dirt pile.
Happy 1st Birthday, sweet baby girl!

4 little Fergusons Photography: Twin Edition
This is a twin edition in two ways: Twin as in dual photo sessions to share with you & twin as in Twins!
I had the privilege of photographing the precious twin boys of some friends of ours from Sunday school. We have been in class together for 9 years now and have built great relationships with each and every couple in there! I am so thankful for the people the Lord has placed in our lives!
Without further adieu, here are my favorites from their session.
This next family is also from our church, I did not know them well before the session, but I feel like I do now! They had the clever idea of coming in their camo shirts in honor of their love of hunting. Here are just a few of my favorites from their session……I had to copy and paste from Facebook as I just cleaned them off my computer. (hoping to avoid another crash by keeping my photo numbers down!)
I am so very thankful that the Lord is blessing our family with these photo jobs, I had 2 more sessions this weekend that still await editing! I hope to get a few more sessions in before its too cold, because once that happens, I am out of a job!
I don’t know enough about my camera to deal with yellow-orange inside lights and bad lighting. Dale promised me he’d look into building me a frame of some sort to try to reflect the natural light that comes in our bedroom window in hopes of creating a faux studio of sorts. We shall see! I am still feeling a bit overwhelmed and stunned that people are calling me to take their photos! No pressure, right?!?!?!??! 🙂
I am so so thankful to be able to “play” at this and still suppliment our income during this rough patch.
Head to post number 2 for today: Pizza Dip! A Ferguson Family FAVORITE!!

My Little Ladies: 8 & 3 Year Old Photo Sessions
My little ladies are 8 and 3 now. I grabbed a shot or two of each girl at Destiny’s party, but I wanted a few more. And, of course, some of them together too.
I am pretty happy with how these turned out, considering it was past bedtime on a school night and they were exhausted & whiney. A lot of Avery’s turned out blurred. 😦 I’ll have to get some more of her another time…..
“Looky, Momma! My dress spins!”
The rickety old junk-filled outbuildings on our property that used to drive me crazy, are looking more and more appealing all the time! What a fun place to take photos of my sweeties!
