2011 will go down in history as our most difficult year yet, and I have never been happier to see a year go.  Never have we been stretched so much, never have we spent more time in the refiners fire being molded, chiseled and changed. It seems no part was left untouched by trials and fire, and never have so many tears been shed, but God is so so faithful and for that I give Him praise! ♥  Bring on 2012 & a bountiful harvest of His blessings! I am thankful I serve a mighty God who can make Beauty from Ashes.

Here’s to 2012, a year of renewed hope, a bountiful harvest of blessing,

~T

God has been so faithful in taking the broken shards of my life and turning them into a mosaic of His grace.

    • I suprised me too!!! But, I was pleased as punch to see your name on the top 5. 🙂 This is probably due to the fact that I have VERY “quiet” readers! I hear from 5 or so of all the ones that come see me everyday. Gotta figure out how to remedy that in the new year!

  1. AAHHHAAA – little did I realize the times I comment here were being counted!? :-} Guess my ‘chattiness’ shows through in the numbers huh? WOW Gal! What a year of accomplishments…and sooo many visitors come here? That’s VERY exciting! What a charge to see what God is doing in your life. Sweet Blessings & Unexpected Heavenly Surprises to you in the new year. Keep on keepin’ on and keep looking up. Our Father knows just what we need and He loves us so and will take care of us.

  2. Well, Tonya, as a local, dear and trusted friend (yes I’m putting myself in that category!) I will leave my first response ever! Sorry I never did so sooner. I have been blessed to be a part in your year’s ups and downs. To have shared tears with you. To have laughed with you. To have had hours of endless conversations with you. When someone can share their trials with humbleness and open their hearts to let others know the fear and pain and give it all back to the Glory of God….well, you will forever be a true friend and sister in Christ. Thank you for being you.

  3. Wow, Tonya, those are some amazing stats. But, because You/we serve such an amazing God it shouldn’t surprise us that He uses your life to touch, bless and enrich all who choose to visit your blog. I am also one of your biggest fans, I should be, right? After all, I heard your first cry, wiped the first tear from your eye, saw you take your first step and watched you step beautifully down the aisle to say “I Do”. I knew first hand all the stories that you shared, but wiped away hundreds of tears as I read them and lived them again. As your Mom and one of your best friend, I want to tell you how very proud of you I am. Thank you for serving the Lord in using the incredible talents He has given you! All Glory to God the Father who Loves you and Lavishes His Love on you more then I ever could. Press on in Faith and with expectant Hope. He is not finished with you yet. 2012 will show forth more and more of God’s greatness!! With All My Love, Mom

  4. My goodness, you are one popular blog-lady!! Congratulations! Honestly, I don’t know how you do it with a busy household and four kids…I managed 82 posts in 2011, and that was a struggle!
I’ve been meaning to tell you that I made your Tex Mex Brats & Beans a few weeks ago, and Mike and I ate the entire batch in a matter of days–it is SO GOOD!! I’m making a double batch for our Bible study dinner this week, complete with your mama’s cornbread recipe and Pioneer Woman’s Oatmeal Crispies. That is definitely my favorite recipe of yours so far; so easy and packed with protein, which is a huge bonus when I’m pregnant and getting enough protein is a challenge.

    • Yay! I makes me so happy when people like the recipes I share. Funny, right?! Like it really matters in the big picture, but it still makes me happy none-the-less! 🙂 Take care of that baby of yours! That 7 layer dip I shared a while back is another healthy, protein packed treat. I ate it breakfast, lunch and dinner when I was PG!!! The avocado is such a good healthy fat for baby, and the sprouts are good for you both too!

  5. Well Tonya, I’m one of the almost silent ones. I do read nearly every post you make, but while I do not always comment–your blog is a blessing to me. It has amazed me the number of times what you’ve posted has been exactly what I needed to read for that day! God bless you and keep up the good work!

  6. Oh Wow I wonder how I missed this post 😦
Well I found it now and I have to say I am proud to be in your top 5 commenters ( though I chat to much ) Your loving, bubbly, Love The Lord Personality is such an Inspiration to me and I look forward to your posts everyday!
You are such a blessing to anyone that reads your blog.
I have to say that reading your Moms post brings tears to my eyes but in a good way.
You are the Real Deal and I feel very lucky to have found The 4littlefergusons..So thank you for sharing so many different parts of your life and how you deal with everything that God hands you in such a loving way….
I wish your family the best in 2012 God bless you and keep up the good work!

  7. Tonya, you know I love you! And this blog is obviously a work that God has His hand in and on! I pray nothing but God’s favor and blessings upon all of you in 2012.

I adore hearing from you, comment away! :)
